Making records together
Every artist and every song is different. My approach is to understand what you're trying to achieve and find the best way to bring that idea to life.
Sometimes that means developing a rough demo, working out arrangements and building a production from the ground up. Other times, it's about capturing a band playing together, adding the right instrumentation or bringing a nearly finished track over the line.
I work across the whole process, drawing on my experience as a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer to help create records that have character, feel and a clear sense of identity.
More than just recording
A great production is about bringing together the right performances, sounds and ideas.

Song development and arrangement
Developing ideas, refining structures and finding arrangements that bring out the best in a song.
Instrumentation and performance
Adding guitars, bass, keyboards, percussion and other parts to build a production with depth and character.
Recording and production
Capturing musicians playing together or building a track piece by piece, always working towards the sound and feel the music needs.
Editing and mixing
Taking care of the finer details and bringing everything together into a finished record.
