Meet Lorenzo
Hi, I'm Lorenzo. I'm a multi-instrumentalist and producer who loves capturing authentic, dynamic performances. I got my start playing in bands, which gave me a deep appreciation for the energy and chemistry of live music. That love for performance naturally evolved into a career in production, where I focus on helping artists shape their sound and bring their music to life.
Before I fully stepped into production, I built an extensive career as a session guitarist, performing at renowned venues like the Royal Albert Hall, Glasgow SECC, and on major TV shows like The X Factor and The Album Chart Show. This experience gave me invaluable insight into live performance dynamics, helping me refine my ear for arrangement and develop a deep understanding of what makes a great performance—both on stage and in the studio.
As a producer, I've had the privilege of working with a range of incredible bands and artists, including The Youth Play, Erika, Lia Sky, H.E.L.M (my own band), Old Man Jr, and Birthmarks. Whether I'm recording full bands live, crafting vocal arrangements, or pushing artists to reach their best performances, I thrive on making music sound bigger, more exciting, and true to itself.
Beyond artist productions, I've composed and produced hundreds of tracks for major production music companies like Audio Network, EMI, and Sonoton. My music has been featured in ads, films, and TV worldwide, but what I enjoy most is collaborating directly with musicians to create something truly special.
I also lecture at ICMP, teaching music production and engineering. I love sharing my experience and helping the next generation of artists and producers develop their skills. Many of my past students have gone on to become some of my favorite clients, bringing fresh ideas and incredible energy into the studio.
